By using PastDu, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part, you may not use our service.
Description of Service
PastDu provides guided document preparation services. We help you prepare common legal documents based on information you provide through our questionnaire process. You are responsible for reviewing, signing, and sending documents yourself.
Each document purchase includes one free revision within 30 days if you need to correct information or update details. After 30 days or after using your free revision, additional changes require purchasing a new document.
Not Legal Services
IMPORTANT: PastDu is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, opinions, or recommendations. Our service prepares documents based solely on the information you provide through our guided questionnaires. No attorney reviews your answers or the final document.
We do not guarantee that your document will achieve your desired outcome or be accepted by the recipient. We cannot predict how landlords, creditors, courts, or other parties will respond to your document. If you need legal advice about your specific situation, consult a licensed attorney in your state.
Payment Terms
- Payment is required before document generation
- Fees are one-time and cover document preparation plus one revision
- Refunds are available only under specific conditions outlined in our Refund Policy
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe
Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy of information you provide
- Reviewing documents carefully before sending
- Printing, signing, and sending documents yourself
- Following up with recipients as needed
- Compliance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction
- Obtaining legal advice if your situation is complex or uncertain
- Understanding that we cannot guarantee any specific outcome
- Not using our service as a substitute for legal counsel
Limitation of Liability
PastDu is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that your document will be accepted, that you will achieve your desired outcome, or that the document is suitable for your specific situation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our service, including but not limited to: lost money, lost time, legal disputes, rejected documents, or adverse outcomes.
Our maximum liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the specific document in question.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of PastDu constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
